Trip - 10th Stop: Christimas is in the air, especially when we hear Christmas songs over the radio or television. I also admire original Filipino Christmas songs. Most of them are excellently made.I really like the song “Oh Holy Night”. I find the song solemn whenever I hear it. It reminds me of the true meaning of Christmas. I want to dedicate the song “Merry Christmas Darling” to my loved one. It fills the air with Christmas spirit, as well with love. But if I want something better for the world, I like listening to “My Grown Up Christmas List”. “The Christmas Song” reminds me of Christmas Eve.
These are just some of the songs which I really want to hear during the season of Christmas. It seems like Christmas wouldn’t be complete without hearing these songs. It would also be incomplete without hearing the voices of little children singing Christmas carols on our gates/doors. Though we might not give them money all the time, we will still think that it would be incomplete if we can’t hear these little children.
It just made me think that music is really powerful… that it is a universal language… that it can even bring out the Christmas spirit.
